Personality: With his sharp eyes and always there frown, Aidan looks like a cold, aloof, stand-offish jerk. But if you don't judge the book by it's cover, one would see a GENTLE, caring soul that's just really bad at socializing. He's awkward and gets flustered easily, but he tries hard and learns quickly. Though his natural fear/dislike of fire makes interacting with fire types all the more difficult.
History: When Aidan was young, his mother left his father and took him along with her. Aidan's father, Naseke, was obviously not very happy about this and voiced all his opinions about this as they left. It was a tad scarring for Aidan, but it was quickly covered by the memories made with his new step-father. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and by the time Aidan was 8, his mother and step-father were so far in debt and poverty that they could no longer keep Aidan. Aidan was sent back to his biological father who now had another wife and son.

Aidan used to fit in that picture... but after his mother left with him he was replaced by his setp-brother, Silas. With no choice in the matter of taking in Aidan, thanks to his step-mother who thought Aidan was adorable, the poor boy was ignored at best and abused at worst. The abuse from his father and the endless teasing from Silas turned Aidan into an introvert. He wouldn't even defend himself in school. It got to the point where it didn't matter anyway because Silas could turn the whole classroom on him in a matter of days.
Things remained this way until Aidan's last year in middle school- Silas was at it again, but this time someone stepped up to Aidan's defense. A pudgy little Pichu girl named Kyo. She pretty much schooled Silas that day and she and Aidan became good friends. This started a trend of friend making for Aidan- a new student transferred in, an Eevee boy named Kohaku, and he quickly joined kyo and Aidan's circle. Then sometime later, another transfer, a Kirlia boy named Haru, came in and Kyo scooped him up into their circle, saving him from Silas as well. Shortly after graduating, all of them evolved except Aidan, who had chosen to never evolve, ever. Kyo bought him an everstone necklace to mark the occasion, which only fueled the crush he had on her this whole time.
Over the course of all this, Aidan was always secretly finding stray or abandoned animals and caring for them in his room in the basement with the help of his step-mother who came from a ranching family. She taught Aidan everything she knew about raising animals and caring for them. Aidan loved it so much he wanted to be a rancher! His step-mother approved and told him of the ranch that she had on Amusement Archipelago that was just there collecting dust. She would be glad to give it to Aidan. With her and his friends support they helped him move to the ranch.
